Silent disco Tampines: heartland parties, neighbour friendly
A silent disco in Tampines fits the rhythm of a busy heartland town, where community halls, school fields and void decks sit metres from people's windows. Everyone dances; the blocks stay peaceful.
Tampines is one of Singapore's largest towns and a showcase of heartland life. Our Tampines Hub brings sports halls, a library and a community club under one roof; Tampines Mall, Century Square and Tampines 1 cluster round the MRT interchange; and Tampines Eco Green and Sun Plaza Park offer a breath of green. Temasek Polytechnic and dozens of schools serve the estates. With flats this close together, an amplified party reaches a lot of homes. Headphones keep the energy high and the complaints low.
Since 2012, Silentsystem has supplied more than 10,000 clients with headphones for parties, schools and community events. Each headphone has three channels and an LED that glows in the colour of the chosen one, so organisers see at a glance who is on which. For Tampines events, the kit leaves our Singapore warehouse one or two days ahead. Find more ideas for open events on our public events page.
Where headphones work in Tampines
From a community plaza to a polytechnic hall, Tampines has space for crowds of every size.
Our Tampines Hub
The hub's halls and open spaces host community festivals, sports days and celebrations. A silent disco corner gives teenagers a reason to stay without drowning out the stage programme.
Void decks and multi-purpose halls
Void decks and residents' halls host wedding receptions, birthdays and festive gatherings. Headphones keep the music close to the guests and away from the flats above.
Schools and Temasek Polytechnic
School halls and polytechnic venues host proms, orientation and CCA celebrations. Students choose a channel; teachers keep the volume in check.
Malls round the interchange
Weekend atrium events at the town's malls draw families from across the east. A headphone dance-off makes a spectacle without clashing with the shops' music.

Residents' celebrations
Mid-Autumn, National Day and year-end events can include a silent party slot for younger residents while older neighbours enjoy the stage.
School proms and graduation nights
A headphone prom feels special and is easy to supervise. The kit comes with simple instructions that a student committee can follow.
Family birthdays and 21sts
A void deck or a function room becomes a dance floor for one evening, and the neighbours upstairs sleep through it. See our private parties page.
How your order reaches Tampines
We send everything from our Singapore warehouse with DHL or Ninja Van, so it arrives one or two days before the event at your flat, school office or community venue. Schools and community buildings usually have a general office: give us the name of the person receiving the cases. Urgent same-day top-ups go by Lalamove or uParcel. Outdoors, plan a sheltered fallback in case of an afternoon storm. Delivery is quoted separately.
- Charged headphones, extra sets, transmitters and chargers
- A clear guide for teachers, volunteers and residents, with WhatsApp support
- A security deposit, returned once every headphone is back and checked
For 200 participants, budget an indicative S$1,200–1,450. More on the prices page.

Can a school order for a prom or graduation?
Yes. We send a quote with prices, and a consultant calls within 24 hours to go through the details.
Which headphones are most comfortable for young people?

Can we split the crowd by age or taste?
