Silent disco corporate events your colleagues will remember
Silent disco corporate events give your team a party that suits any venue, from a hotel ballroom on Marina Bay to an event space in one-north. Three channels, full sound and nothing leaking into the next room.

The corporate calendar in Singapore has a clear high season. Dinner-and-dance nights and year-end parties crowd into November and December, followed closely by Chinese New Year gatherings and lo hei lunches. In between come product launches, team-building days, client appreciation nights and conference after-parties, and HR and events teams are always hunting for a fresh idea. A silent disco gives the dance floor new energy, while the rest of the room can still chat, network and wait for the lucky draw.
It suits hotel ballrooms where another function sits behind a partition, offices and event spaces in the CBD, Tanjong Pagar or one-north where sound carries between floors, and rooftop venues where amplified music must end early. You or your event agency bring the DJ or the playlists; we supply the headphones and transmitters. For large or complex functions, rental with assistance covers delivery, set-up and technicians on the night. As each person chooses their own channel and volume, colleagues of every age and background find something they like, and the evening feels inclusive rather than overwhelming. The kit arrives cleaned, sanitised and charged one or two days ahead, giving your team time to test the set-up with the venue's AV crew.
Why silent disco corporate events succeed
Works within venue limits
Hotels and event spaces with sound restrictions or a function next door can still host a lively dance floor.
Breaks the ice
Headphones bring departments and levels together. Even the quietest colleagues end up singing the chorus.
Three moods at once
Mandopop, chart hits and electronic music side by side, or a DJ face-off between teams with the LEDs keeping score.
Room for networking
Guests who want to talk business can do it at the tables without raising their voices, while the floor keeps going.
Content for your brand
A crowd in coloured headphones makes striking photos and video for internal newsletters and social channels.
Not only music
One channel can carry a keynote, a product demo or a guided walk, handy at conferences and launches.
From brief to dance floor

Agree sound and logistics
With your team or agency we decide channels, transmitters, delivery and, where useful, assistance with set-up and technicians.
Enjoy the night
Headphones go out from a station beside the floor; your DJ or playlists begin and the party runs without disturbing anyone beyond the room.
Configuring headphones for a company function
At a D&D, people dance in waves between the courses, the speeches, the performances and the lucky draw. For 300 guests, about 200 headphones usually cover the busiest stretch; a launch or year-end party of 80 is comfortable with up to 100.
- Up to 100 headphones: S$650–1,000, indicative, single event.
- Up to 200 headphones: S$1,200–1,450, indicative.
- Up to 500 headphones: S$2,450–2,900, indicative, for large functions and town halls.
- Transmitters: TX-350 for multi-channel set-ups, TX-500 for very large halls.
- Assistance: delivery, set-up and technicians are quoted separately.

Tips for a successful company silent disco
- Reserve early: November to February is peak season for ballrooms and for headphones, with year-end parties and Chinese New Year back to back.
- Brand the channels: name them after teams, offices or product lines.
- Time the switch: keep speeches, the lucky draw and stage items on the venue's speakers, then lower the lights and open the headphone station.
- Two people, one table: a staffed station hands out 200 headphones in a few minutes.
- Team battle: two DJs, two colours, and the department with the most dancers wins.
- Talk to the venue: show the hotel's banquet team where the station and transmitters will stand.
- Returns at the door: set a collection point by the exit, ideally next to the lift lobby or the coach pick-up.

Questions about: corporate events
Can you supply functions with hundreds of guests?
Yes. We hold 5,000 headphones in our Singapore warehouse, and Silentsystem supplies more than 1,200 events a year. Up to 1,000 headphones is an indicative S$4,150–5,750 for a single event; larger numbers are quoted on request.
Do you work with event agencies and production houses?
Yes. Many of our clients are agencies, production houses and hotels. Long-term rental and tailor made formulas are designed with them in mind.
Can the headphones carry a presentation too?
Yes. One channel can carry a presenter's microphone or a video soundtrack, which works well for launches and conferences in open spaces.
How is the price calculated?
By the number of headphones and the formula you choose. Delivery within Singapore, assistance and technicians are quoted separately. The cost per guest falls as numbers grow.
How early should we book a D&D?
As soon as the venue is confirmed. For year-end parties and Chinese New Year events, two to three months ahead is sensible.
